Spring at last!
Well after a very cold February and March, we finally have flowers. Usually we have crocuses and forsythia by mid march the latest, but this year we had crocusses in the beginning of April and boy was I glad to see them. Right now my favorite flower is in bloom -
Hyacinthes. I think I love them so much because whenever I first smell them I think of my grandmother smelling them and sighing and saying how beautiful they arey are.
Also we have daffodils and forsythia in bloom at the same time. I never remember that happening before.

This daffodil is a miniature one. Its about 4 inches high. I should have placed an everyday object next to it. Becuase if an everyday object makes you look small, that's cute! Next to it is a plumeria, they are nice becuase they bloom in the spring and fall and don't mind the shade too much.

Lovely! Here you'll see daffodils popping up everywhere, but we've been struggling to get out of the 50's. It may have been 60 one day last week. :-) And then there's the Seattle rain. I think it'll be May before we get consistently pretty days & higher temps. I can't wait!
I have one lonely purple crocus blooming in my front yard. Not much, but better than nothing. We don't have nearly as many flowers blooming here just yet, though. I'll just enjoy your pictures instead.
