and the sleeping is easy...
Mets was my son's kitty. She was named during baseball season (surprise!). Several years ago she got hit by a car and is no longer with us. She was a very unusual cat. She loved everybody and would like nothing better then when there were a lot of people over. She'd go from lap to lap.
Huggy is my daughter's cat. Here she is taking in the sun. She's 14 now. She is very vocal and has an assortment of intonations, some of which we understand. She likes to go in and out of the house and will have us open the door every 15 minutes. If you let her out and then leave, and the weather doesn't turn out to be to her liking, she will give you quite an earfull when you get back.
The boys are Handsome (the black & white) and Solomon. Handsome was my cat and Solly is my husband's. Yes, we're a family of four that can't even share cats. Handsome was euthanized on March 23, 2007 due to kidney failure. He has left a hole in all of our hearts but probably in Solomon's the most.
Solomon is 12 now. He is Mets' son. Mets, however, wanted nothing to do with him once he was weaned and she was spade. Solomon is very skittish and will run from sudden movements or noise.
